June’s Question of the Month

Q: “We are already paying for an ad with you. Is there an additional cost for using your website to do things like pay online, etc.?”

- Ruth K. from Yakima, WA

A: No, the Dex e-Bill site is free of charge and provides you with an easy, convenient and safe way to view and pay your invoices. The Dex e-Bill site also allows you the opportunity to go paperless and help the environment.

How to sign up. Getting started with Dex e-Bill is easy. Registering takes less than five minutes and all you need is a copy of your most recent Dex One invoice. Simply visit www.DexKnows.com/ebill and fill in the required information–most of which can be found on your Dex One invoice.

Establishing electronic invoices. Simply log in to Dex e-Bill and click on the ‘Electronic Invoices’ link. Electronic invoices look identical to the paper invoices you receive in the mail. If you elect to establish electronic invoices, you will receive an email notification when your new invoice is ready for viewing. You will no longer receive a paper invoice in the mail, but you can print a copy of your electronic invoice at any time. If you have not signed up for electronic invoices on the Dex e-Bill website, you will continue to receive paper invoices in the mail.

Making auto payments. You can set up your account to have payments automatically deducted from your checking account, savings account or credit card each month with AutoPay. It is the safe, convenient and free way to ensure your invoice is paid on time, every time. Log in to Dex e-Bill and click on the ‘AutoPay’ link. Approximately one week before your payment is due, you’ll receive an email letting you know how much will be deducted from your account. Then, on your due date, AutoPay will deduct the invoice amount from your checking or savings account or charge your credit card.  Finally,  you’ll receive a follow-up email providing confirmation of payment. Please note that if you are already set-up for automatic payments within Dex One’s account receivable system, you will need to contact us to make changes to your payment method.

If you’d prefer, you can also make a one-time payment on your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online payments will post to your bank within two business days and you’ll receive a confirmation number and an email confirming your payment. To prevent accidental overpayments, online users are limited to one payment in a 24-hour period and the maximum payment allowed is your account balance.
