Q: We’ve received a lot of questions this month regarding how to access your Business Profile. Inquires range from “How do I access my account or find my password?” and “How can I check the results of my advertising?” to “How can I change out my keywords or promotions?”
A: All of this information and more can be found at https://account.DexKnows.com. If this is your first time accessing your Business Profile or you didn’t receive the email invitation with your access information, you can still log in to your account. Simply go to https://account.DexKnows.com and click on the “Forgot Password?” link. A DexKnows.com® password recovery email will be sent to your email account on file. Please follow the instructions in the email. If your login (email address) is not recognized, please call 1-877-4DexBiz (1-877-433-9249) to get your login and temporary password so you can start editing your profile today. What is a Business Profile? Advertisers that sign up for a Dex One Yellow Pages display or in-column ad receive a complimentary Business Profile on DexKnows.com. A Business Profile is your chance to tell prospective customers everything they’ve ever wanted to know about your business. It features an interactive mapping tool and the ability to display your print ad, logo and more. Plus, you can highlight your phone number and website link, and you’ll appear above all the free listings on search results.
Updating your profile content. There are two ways to access your business information. The first is via one of the two links found on the Profile Page. The second is to bookmark the URL (https://account.DexKnows.com) so you can log in to your account at any time. Once you’re logged in, click on “Edit Profile” and you can make nearly instantaneous updates to addresses, emails and phone numbers under the Business Info tab. Are you carrying a new line of products or servicing a new part of town? Let customers know today by updating your profile under the Categories or Service Area tabs.
Complete profiles are more likely to get noticed. The more complete your profile, the more details you can offer customers before they even call. Best of all, the more search terms or words specific to your business you include in your profile, the more likely you are to show up in searches on DexKnows.com and other major search engines like Google® and Yahoo!® That way, customers will not only find you, but they’re more likely to find you first.
Track your online results. Curious to see if anyone is viewing your profile online? If you’ve purchased an Enhanced or Dex Net Package, you can check your results whenever you want. Simply log in to your account and click on the “View Reports” link. You’ll be able to see a record of activity from your marketing program. You’ll also receive a monthly email that provides information on how to access and view reports of your advertising programs from Dex One.
